Fri Sept 8 – Day 9 - Tour Day 7 - La Beauce and Chartres to Paris, City of Light. Part 2

After checking in at the hotel, there was enough time after the luggage arrived, to shower and change for our evening at La Nouvelle Eve Paris.

We departed the hotel around 6pm.  Rudy would be driving us there tonight but there would be another driver bringing us back to the hotel, as Rudy would have passed his allowable driving hours for the day.

I didn't note what time we arrived at the theatre but was surprised to see that it was perhaps 100 or 200 metres away from the Moulin Rouge theatre. Our group was the first ones into the theatre.  We weren't seated at 1 big table but at a number of smaller ones but all grouped next to each other. Marie, Shelley, Lucia and myself, were on a table for 4 against the stage, as you can see in this photo.

 

I think the show started at 8pm.  I have "borrowed" the following photos from FaceBook, as there is no photography or videoing allowed during the show.

 First there were a few can can dances in different costumes. the energy of those dancers.

That bath tub had water in it and both Shelley and I were slightly damp after his performance. 

After those 3 performances, there were more dance and singing routines. It was a fabulous night out.  We were picked up by our new driver and taken back to the hotel.

I finally put my light out just on midnight. And so ends my first tour, this year, with Insight.
